Brand Image consistency.
Duplicating your brand colors and designs saves time while increasing

Use your Brand Colors consistently on your social media, blog, website, podcast, and marketing materials so that your followers can begin to recognize your brand.
This is very easy to do if you use Canva, a layman’s graphic design template program. Canva is very easy to use and to replicate templates, colors and design elements making brand consistency easy. Instead of using random photo collage programs, use Canva and you will have access to an inventory professional font, templates, design elements and images for their free package. Simply sign up for a free account.
Select a template for the purpose needed: i.e. FB post, FB headers, LinkedIn, book cover, record label, PDF’s, etc. Select the font that seems appropriate for your brand image and your content. You can safely use two different fonts, getting beyond three fonts may look a little messy and visually disorganized.
I use the playlist script font for my business name because that is one of my brand characteristics. What are your brand characteristics? If I were an attorney or corporate professional I would not use playlist script. Font usage makes an impression on your audience.
I also use the color pink often in my graphics as it is one of my brand colors, but I don’t use any pink shade. I use a transparent 44% pink that I duplicate. You will see this option when you begin playing around with Canva. Below is an example of the fonts I use and the 44% pink.
Here is an example of how my very good friend, Sherry Sims, founder of Black Career Women’s Network uses Canva for her brand needs.
To maintain the same font, color, and design elements and template preload the designs in the app and duplicate the template so that you can preset your colors, fonts and design elements to be consistent. This helps increase your visual brand recognition especially in the crowded internet, plus it saves a lot of time. So, while you don’t have to pay a lot of money at least starting off with your graphic needs, there is no reason to skimp on your design because there are lots of good design programs for laypeople. Canva is one.
