Organized Style and Substance:
Meet professional organizer, Janet Manning Goudy of JMG Solutions.
Who said organizing has to be boring and mundane?
Obviously, not this stylish woman from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Goodbye are the days of milk carton shelf spacing and hello to style, practicality and organization.
Janet Manning Goudy is not your 'mother's jeans' of professional organizing; she is a contemporary organizer with both style and substance. Specializing in helping small businesses to reign in and get the most from their office and desk space, she is also adept with filing systems, paper management, workflow and digital organization. Janet is an excel expert, training small business owners to utilize a workflow program to better manage projects, create and manage customer/client lists, tracking their banking information, and creating templates for revenue, profit and loss statements via excel to name a few. Janet helps business owners to move away from the grab-a-piece-of-paper system for writing lists, or project management to using their time more productively by using programs such as excel and even phone based apps to better manage their business affairs. While your office may never get completely get away from paper/documentation, by using Janet's expert knowledge you can be assured that you won't be looking for pieces of paper, but instead will click your way to efficiency and hopefully profitability.
And how do we know this pretty lady is an expert. Well Janet, has lots of experience rolling up her sleeves as a former business analyst who in corporate America, she helped stakeholders better understand the company structure, and operations by building and recommending logistical systems and workflow processes. For example, what better way to build a project than through a digital template that employees and other stakeholders can access for improvements, add-ons, etc vs using pen and paper. In today's digital environment, Janet can help small business owners to not only create and use templates, but can help them access and store it via the cloud and/or from their smart phones, and tablets. Janet is a bridge builder of structure for your small business working with technology to help you carry out your visions in a more efficient manner. And just as Janet knows fashion style she also knows systems to help you fulfill your dream of running a well oiled business.
Janet assessed the needs and problems for corporate America, and she will do the same for your company from creating an excel management template for your projects, to suggesting organizational tools to streamline your important documents.
Stop losing money from your cluttered desk! For those who aren't computer and digital savvy,
Janet's suggestions will help the small business owner to keep themselves on track using
folders, notebooks and other traditional methods for keeping the business owner strategically
organized. And she can help you do it in an attractive and contemporary manner.
Just as organizing is essential to a successful business it is also important for conducting a personal brand shoot for business owners that reflect their brand message. The process prior to the shoot consist of a design consultation that I give to all of my business clients. Oftentimes, I find that small business owner, especially women, grapple with projecting a strong image that sends a clear brand message about who they are and what their company represents in a confident and powerful way. Many don't know what their brand message is. Many don't know that regardless of the fact that they have not created a brand message, that all of us are randomly assigned by our peers, our family, friends and even strangers a personal brand or style by default of the image we project online and in person. So one of my goals with business owners, especially women, is to help them define who they really are, and what they want to project and to help them OWN it and be confident with their image and message! My goal is to help business women define a brand message so that I can create strong and story telling images that show the consistency across their websites, their social medias and in public.
I want business owners to take a risk of doing something different. Many small business owners want traditional head shots and corporate looking business pictures. They aren't familiar with the vast and creative possibilities to show their brand in a different and professional light. I aim to capture the spirit of my client, what they represent through a brand message that is articulated through the images I produce. Traditional business pictures, typically do not tell the story, and they don't depict the style of business owners. Nor do pictures represent the essence of the business owner or a style other than the traditional business suit. During our consult, my process is to determine the type of message and image that my clients want to project. We talk about their clients, their potential clients and the tools of their trade so to speak.
I want my client to own who they are. To take a risks by stepping outside the fashion attire of their group or tribe and to go for color, go for style, mix pieces together for a cohesive look that says..."this is me" and I own it! To stand out from the crowd. After our design consult, Janet came to photo set ready to go, she had the clothing pieces we discussed, the beautiful colors, along with jewelry, shoes, and props, but more importantly she came with an air of confidence and power tagged with her brand: 'a contemporary professional organizer with style and substance'. We had a full blown photo set to capture not simple head shots or a mundane and cloned business pictures, but to capture the true essence, beauty and style of this business woman in varied looks.
The cost is a little more, but I also did a lifestyle shoot with Janet, showing her fun, and elegant side!
