Envision and take charge of your brand image!
You may be asking what does a car have to do with 'Fitting into your brand'? It has a lot to do with how you see yourself, and how you want your clients to see your online & face-to-face image. And that involves not only your personal taste and style, but it affects most aspects of the message that people perceive about your business. So you can either create your own brand image and message, or others will do so. When creating your brand image you should ask how do you see yourself, and how you want the clients you are trying to reach to view you, your products and/or services. One of the first steps in branding your image, is envisioning what that looks like in your mind, and taking action steps to take advantage of opportunities that help produce an image that is consistent with your brand message and your target market. In addition, you must be bold and take steps to stand apart from the crowd; envision what you want and go get it when the opportunity avails itself!
Three weeks ago, I saw myself in the Jeep pictured above. I can't tell you where the idea came from, but I couldn't let it go even when I knew in the physical realm that it was impossible. But to my TOTAL surprise I was approved for a jeep. Despite my circumstances, I knew that I would not only get a jeep, but it was going to be a really good looking one. And why not? That is what my company message represents: a contemporary, style driven and brand conscious approach to photography. It is consistent with my brand message to my clients. My brand represent style and great quality! Back to my story: to my TOTAL surprise, I was approved for a jeep about a week ago. But, I reserved the above SUV that last Friday morning (8/22/14) to test drive it because I had lost two other SUV's to being purchased, one while I was literally test driving it. Five hours later that same day, on my way home from work I was talking on the phone and my car started to get really hot; the air conditioner was blowing hot air. I looked down and the gage was in the red zone and smoke was coming from the hood. I pulled over, and left my car on the side of the road out the way. As crazy as it sounds, I decided it was time to celebrate and to treat myself to a nice dinner and cocktails. I called my girlfriend and she met me at the restaurant and I told her about getting my new car. Three hours later accompanied by my shrewd boyfriend to CarMax, look at God! My 'not-so-easy-impress', boyfriend, was even a believer! My Jeep Liberty was only $500.00 more than the previous Jeep models I drove, but more importantly this model really represents my style, and my brand message! It is fashionable, and stylish! And the quality is great for your money!
