TweenGirls In the City: Spirit & Soul Photography with Isossy Party Skirts

This past summer, while surfing the internet, I ran across a beautiful global clothing line called Isossy Children, based in London, UK, designed by Amanda Rabor. I instantly became a fan. Her vibrant, and fun clothing puts you in mind of Cyndi Lauper's song #GirlsJustWannaHaveFun!  After reading and researching more about Amanda, I soon discovered that our core beliefs and values on 'kids being kids' and embracing the culturally diverse world we live, meshed together. Although, we've never met,  I could tell she was a beautiful spirit; and I had to showcase her clothes here in the America midwest.

Graciously, after nurturing a summer long relationship via social media and an attempted Skype call; she gave me the opportunity. Or course, I know she first checked out my photography, and how it might line up with her vision to maintain a global look while integrating her clothing line into American mainstream city life of girls being girls.

So the concept and theme for our shoot was: 'Girls in the City: What tween girls love! The shoot was based in a quaint, upscale neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio called Mt Adams. It sits on top of one of Cincy's many hills overlooking downtown Cincinnati.

Shh...my girls don't know it, but I am giving each one a 8 x 10  photo grid of themselves; additional thanks for helping me out with this photo shoot!  You get to see the photo grids first.

I hope they like their photo grids! The girls are so pretty!

And they look like they had so much fun, that I wanted each girl to have a
memory of their experience!

Tween girls love hanging out with their friends.
These girls worked, played together and had a fabulous time!

Each girl brought their own props and I provided some too. But these items were their own,
making it easy for them to be more authentic having fun while being fashionable!

Girls just wanna have fun! Don't they? And that they should! I think they came up with this
               jump!

What a spontaneous look! Remember Pippy Long stocking!  In case you don't...

You got to change it up with tweens and keep it moving with ideas! And makeup is a great
friend of girls and a transition into a new activity.
We're both behind the scenes and creating a photo scene
                                                     ....wait on it...wait on it!

Show time!! it's time to look for the next performance and get prepared for it, too!

They've got on a little lipstick and, now they are ready to perform! #GirlPower!

NEXT SCENE of Girls in the City!
Now it's time to showcase fashion, action shots overlooking downtown Cincinnati, Ohio
                 #GreatAmericanTower, & the P&G building #Proctor & Gamble as our backdrops.
                                                    These girls had endless energy!

They did a wonderful job showcasing Isossy Clothing! I'm proud of them!

Can't you tell from their expressions they had fun! Priceless, candid shots
are the best for catching real emotions! All while looking fashionably cute!

Last shot, Girls in the City: what tween girls love! Fashion, fun and friends!
