Our Spirit and Soul Art and Photography Summer Photography Class

Yesterday, was the first day of Our Spirit and Soul Art and Photography's Summer five week photography class. We were short some students due to final exams and the last week of school for the summer, but the few students who came, we had a great time shooting and experimenting with the location I chose for our class.

While taking pictures of downtown Proctor & Gamble headquarters, we discovered a glass we could shoot through for an interesting effect! Izzy takes a shot of herself including the background behind her simultaneously, I get a shot of her framing my picture to include a part of P & G Towers.

        The mirror behind us made for an interesting distorted picture of the P&G Towers behind me.

                        Found some simple, but pretty flowers while on our photo class location.

This is what I love about kids, they always find different ways to see things! Of course, I told them I couldn't join them...LOL!!

I love these two pictures above and below. I had the kids join me in taking a picture of ourselves!

              I kept the masonry stonework in this picture to give an idea where we were standing.

I love the composition of this picture, unfortunately the wind was blowing...but I think it still works and I captured this photo with the camera on my phone.

On our walking tour, we came across this very interesting spot and I wish someone could have taken a picture of the four of us standing cluttered tightly together grabbing as many shots of this view as possible. It was funny afterwards to step back from this location and realize how close we were gathered in this small spot! Serious photographers!

Well we spent an hour and a half together taking lots of fun pictures. The students want to return to this location next week because we all feel there is so much more to capture. So stay tuned!
